Design Process
ID VISIONING 1
The Yeti GX was created to give streamers a microphone with the one sided arm that enhances their personal expression, with a design focused on amplifying their individuality.

In line with the new BG strategy, we reimagined the microphone for gamers and creators.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
After several rounds of 3D printing, we began working closely with the engineering team on assembly. It was a challenge to arrange the supercardioid capsule, PCB board, and RGB components within a single split part at the bottom.
CMF DEVELOPMENT
To prevent color burning on dark room env, the CMF and ID teams worked closely to experiment with different number of LEDs, tinted rings, and internal patterns.
LAST TOUCH
By collaborating with the ME, CMF, and CMF ENG teams, we were able to resolve the manufacturing issues.
